It's funny, but Michael said that to become a non-conformist, you need to dress like goths, listen to the same music, drink coffee, love the same art as goths. Isn't this conformism, blind adherence to other people's requirements, impossibility of being in a group, having different views ? So you can't be a goth without submitting to their demands? I like that the authors of the cartoon accurately depicted children who believe that they are different, non-conformists, but in essence are no different from other subcultures. They don’t even know exactly what their difference is from vampires and emo, since they have confused which of their groups is a cynic and which is a nihilist. There is a clear lack of critical thinking. Any subculture is essentially the creation of false values, in an attempt to escape from nihilism, albeit unconsciously. Even when you don’t believe in anything, you believe in “nothing.” In what you think the world should be like, but there is no such world, it is nothing ("nihil" - "nothing").
